The topic we talked about tonight was:

What are your thoughts or experiences with alternate power sources?

Other thoughts were shared such as the snow hindering snowmobiling (and not to stop in the road with them in this warm weather), benefits of Mobile use, using a bicycle as an alternative power source, Salt water being a better conductor for a counterpoise than fresh water (such as ice fisher hams might think to use), The Red Green show talking about water being a battery and benefits of using Anderson Power poles.

2 links I would like to share with you:

Anderson Power Poles: http://www.powerwerx.com/anderson-powerpoles/

Mid Winter Madness show, March 12th: k0ltc.org

Next weeks topic will be:

Share your thoughts on limited space radio installs.

A great contest is occurring all this year:

http://www.arrl.org/npota is the link for anyone interested in talking about this at our next meeting.

BroadCastify is now set up. You can listen to the repeater (with a 30 second delay) thought the link below. This is a great way to hear yourself for audio and whatever. Please note that the next 2 days we are fine tuning so there may be a few misses:
